Girls lacrosse Registration closes on 2/20/26 or until teams are FULL
*The EL Girls Lacrosse Program is excited to announce that we have moved all levels
into the Connecticut Valley Youth Lacrosse League (CVYL)*
Lightning (Grades K-2) – The local Lightning Division of girls lacrosse is rapidly
growing in Western MA and Northern CT. The program will focus on the basics of the
game, stick skills, team play, teamwork and a development into true game play. This
level will have 1-2 practices per week and 1 game per week (as scheduling permits) All
Players will receive a game jersey
Bantam (Grade 3-4) – This is a developmental program that builds on fundamental
lacrosse skills and knowledge of the game. This is a competitive division. The athletes
will have 2 Practices per week, will play approx. 8-12 league games, and have 1-2
Jamboree style Tournaments. Players are required to have their own GIRLS lacrosse
stick, goggles, mouth guard and cleats.

**Due to an increasingly large number of athletes in this group, there may be 2 teams created**
Junior (Grade 5-6) – This program will focus on further developing players skills and
knowledge of the game while implementing a strong competitive environment as we
build our players up to higher levels of play. Athletes will have, at minimum, 2 Practices
per week, approx. 12 league games, 1-2 Jamborees and a Post Season Playoff
Tournament Bracket. Scores and Standings will be kept throughout the year. Players
are required to have their own GIRLS lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard and cleats.

Senior (Grade 7-8) – This is an advanced level program designed to get our athletes
ready for the high school lacrosse program. Athletes will have, at minimum, 2 practices
per week. There will be an average of 12 league games, 1-2 Jamborees and a Post
Season Playoff Tournament Bracket. Proper scores and standings will be kept
throughout the year. The program will focus on offensive and defensive strategies,
transition skills and game tactics. Players are required to have their own GIRLS
lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard and cleats.
