Fundamentals and Fun - a skills and drills introductory basketball program for kindergarten age only.
The program will start in mid-January 2026 and end late February 2026. The program will take place on Saturday mornings in two groups: 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
Breakdown of program:
Session Blocks Runs 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, and 2/28 (2/21 no Biddy Ball due to school vacation)
VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED!!!
Volunteer Coaches Responsibilities:
All volunteer coaches must complete ELRD's Coaches Packet (Complete here)
Those parents who can volunteer and help coach, Thank You. Coaches will work alongside the program coordinator. During Basketball Stations you will assist in moving your team from station to station and assist your team at each drill station.
Stations (First 30 mins)
Dribbling
Passing
Shooting
Defense
Mini Games/Huddle Time (Last 20 Mins)
Volunteer coaches will work with program coordinator to run small group mini games with participants.
Registrants will be broken up into two evenly-sized sessions:
- 8:00AM-8:45AM Session 1
- 9:00AM-9:45AM Session 2
