Travel Basketball Grades 3-8

The Travel basketball program is for East Longmeadow athletes in grades 3-8, seeking a higher level of commitment and skill development, playing in a competitive league against teams from other towns. For these teams to be successful, the EL Youth Basketball Association will hold tryout evaluations for each level.
If your player makes a travel team, you will be billed for the program cost of $190.
Travel Registration Deadline: 9/22 at 4 PM
An additional $25 will be charged for late registration.
Commitment: There will be 2 practices a week - one practice will be at Birchland Park Middle School, and one will be at the Springfield College Field House
Evaluations: will take place 9/23 & 9/25 (Girls) and 9/30 & 10/2 (Boys).
Note: Tryouts do result in some children being eliminated from this program if their skill set matches more appropriately with our recreational programming.
See below for full travel evaluation information. Arrive 15 min. early to try on uniform samples. Schedules and team placement will be announced at a later date.

3rd/4th - 4 PM - 5:15 PM
5th/6th - 5:15 PM - 6:45 PM
7th/8th - 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM
